You Must file 2021 IRS Tax Return To Get $1400 Tax Credit
Did You Get Your Stimulus Check?
A stipend of up to $1,400 was distributed in March 2021 to each individual and $1,200 for a married couple. Plus an additional $600 for each qualifying dependent below 17 years of age. There were different eligibility requirements that everyone had to meet to qualify for the stimulus check.

Recovery Rebate Tax Credit
The Recovery Rebate Tax Credit is distributed to people that have not yet received their third EIP by the end of 2021. It’s the same payment as the EIP. Only difference is the name and how you were able to get the EIP. The tax credit will not be automatically implemented on your tax return.
Luckily, the IRS sends you a letter and if you have an online account, you may also view your stimulus payments on the IRS website.
How Do I Know if I Already Received My Stimulus Payment?
The IRS Letter 6475 was issued in January 2022 to help Economic Income Payments recipients determine if they can claim the Recovery Rebate Tax Credit.
The IRS mailed Notice 1444-C to tell eligible people that they have received their third economic payment.
