America’s Choice Tax is seeking a licensed Enrolled Agent to join our team. We are a forward-thinking and fast growing tax resolution firm that helps Americans resolve their tax debt. Our ideal candidate is an individual who is organized, self motivated, has critical thinking skills, and shows willingness to learn and adapt.
Requirements
Must be a Licensed Enrolled Agent with active credentials
1 year as an Enrolled Agent (preferred)
Strong communication (verbal & written) skills and excellent customer service skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Excellent multitasking and organizational skills
Strong attention to detail and time management skills
Responsibilities
Pulling Tax transcripts
Maintaining client contact from the inception to completion of the IRS investigation within the guidelines outlined in the standard operating procedures
Directing clients to provide the required documentation needed for the investigation to be completed
Review and analyze financial documents in order to identify the best possible resolution for our clients
Meeting deadlines and tasks in a timely manner to further expedite the resolution process
Providing excellent customer service while multitasking clients, tasks, goals, and expectations
Maintaining proper notes in CRM and tracking progress accordingly
Regularly establishes contact with the IRS and/or State Tax Agencies, communication may be by phone, email and/or fax
Provides realistic timelines and case updates to team members daily or as needed
Ability to work independently and effectively, prioritize caseload, handles a high volume of cases
Manages an assigned client caseload and any correspondence with IRS and/or State authorities

Must be a Certified Tax Preparer
Must have active PTIN certification
Some tax preparation experience is required (1 year preferably)
In-depth knowledge of applicable tax laws, regulations and deadlines
Proficiency with common tax preparation, word processing and spreadsheet software applications
Familiarity with the tax return submission and confirmation process, including how to navigate the IRS and other government entity online platforms
Excellent customer service skills, including patience and flexibility
Great organizational skills, including time management and strategic thinking
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Keen attention to detail
Responsibilities
Prepare a high volume of simple and complex tax returns for individuals and small businesses
Ensure the confidentiality of each client by following all company procedures regarding information handling
Prioritizing case loads and assignments
Remain focused and adaptable in a fast paced working environment
Review financial records such as income statements and documentation of expenditures
Ensure that clients receive maximum savings by identifying potential deductions and credits
Work closely with Case Managers, Enrolled Agents, and/or Tax Attorneys
